Does it actually remove wax or just push it around?

OttoEar is designed to lift and remove wax – not push it deeper like cotton buds do.

The scoop tips are shaped to get behind the wax and pull it out gradually. Because you can see everything in real-time, you can approach from the right angle and know when you've got it all.

If your wax is very hard, a few drops of warm water or ear oil beforehand can help soften it – then use OttoEar to extract the loosened pieces. Many users are amazed to actually see the wax come out on the tip.

What if the tip falls off inside my ear?
